Robin: “Oh Sebby, Lance was here a moment ago, but left in a rush. He said something about needing to be at the guild by seven. He forgot part of his order, would you run it up to him when you go to the lake? Thank youuuuu!”
Seb: “Yeah sure.”
*Seb hikes to the guild and knocks on Lance’s door*
Lance: “OH! H-hello, Sebastian. My apologies, I was just sitting down with a hot cup of tea to watch– Er… to watch a show. My apologies, that was rude. Would you like to come in? I have tea or coffee if you want a cup.”
Seb: “S-sure, I guess. Uh, coffee’s good.”
Lance: “Have a seat! I was just about to watch a new movie I’ve been waiting for… heh… it’s uh… *mumbles* Love on the High Seas…”
Seb: “You… watch those corny romance movies? Sam’s mom was all excited and going on about that one, that’s the only reason I heard of it.”
Lance: “Well… to be perfectly honest, I find them relaxing. A complete escape from reality.”
*Half an hour later*
Seb: “What the— why would she even look twice at that idiot pirate? He’s definitely just going to rob her.”
Lance: “Hmm yes, I certainly hope she realizes his intentions are not good. The cabin boy is a much better choice.”
*An hour later*
Lance: “That poor cabin boy, he’s done for if she doesn’t realize what the pirate’s done…”
Seb: “Pirate bastard… what does she see in him, anyway??”
*Two hours later*
Seb: “DAMN! Who would have guessed the cabin boy was a prince in disguise, and an expert martial artist too? That pirate sure got what was coming to him!”
Lance: “Most definitely! And a happy ending for all. *chuckles* All but the pirate, that is.”
Seb: “Well, I guess I better head back, got some work to finish. Thanks for the coffee, Lance.”
Lance: “Any time! My door’s open whenever you happen by. There is a sequel coming out soon, Love on a Desert Island, if you’d like to come watch.”
Seb: “Really? Well… maybe. I’ll see what’s going on… but yeah, sounds good.”
*Seb runs into Abby on the way home*
Abby: “Where have you BEEN?? I’ve been looking for you ALL DAY! I went all the way over to Sam’s, and he said you were heading to the lake, but you weren’t there. Then I ran into Killian… heehee! … Ahem. He said he hadn’t seen you, but then he got that squinty devious look like when he’s about to pull a fast one on Lewis, so I dunno… I can never get a straight answer out of him about anything anyway buuuut he’s interesting to talk to. Oh, and I saw Imma and asked her like an idiot, but of COURSE she hasn’t seen you… she was super nice and let me off the hook. But anyway, I NEED my favorite lip gloss! I left it on the table last time we played Solarion Chronicles, but you haven’t been home and I’m not gonna… Earth to Seb… are you EVEN listening to me??”
Seb: *eyes glazed over* “Huh? Oh, you’re still here? Sorry, was thinking about something else. What? Make it quick. I have work to finish.”
Abby: “Why do I even bother. Are you going home now? I NEED my lipgloss.”
Seb: “You seem very attached to that lipgloss.”
Abby: “DUH! It’s infused with minerals, it’s amazing!”
